School is back in session and I already feel like the days are flying by. Although it has been crazy warm in New England, we all know that mother nature turns on a dime here. 90 degrees one day and snowing the next. I really hate to even mention the H-word BUT the Holidays seem so be coming SO fast! I love this time of year in New England. I love a new season and the fun events it brings. There is nothing better than gathering with family and friends in our homes. I love hosting and being hosted. But isn’t it funny – when you need the perfect little host/hostess gift, you rack your brain? A recent trip to Target and some online shopping turned up the cutest and most useful gifts! I’m hoping to get some holiday shopping done early to take off some of the pressure when December comes! I know – I used to hate people like me, but I realized I was my own worst enemy when waiting until the last minute. Check these out!
I thought these glass pumpkin decorations from Pottery Barn were adorable. And they are on sale right now!
I like a little Halloween decor (less is more) and this pillow cover would last right through Thanksgiving. Also on sale right now!
These salt and pepper shakers from Target are just too cute and are a great set for table decor!
Useful AND cute gifts are the best! My potholders get so burned and gross over time and need replacement. So when you find cute ones, you go for it!
Along with the baking/cooking theme:
And lastly, my kids were in need of new water bottles this year. I was so disappointed that nothing really kept their drinks cold all day at school. Then, I purchased a S’well bottle from Nordstrom for myself and fell in love with it. They are pricey but SO worth it because I know it will last forever. My water stays cold all day (and promotes me to drink more because it stays so fresh!) and it can also be used for hot liquids.
While shopping at Target, I found these Sip by S’well bottles with such cute prints. Great size for the kids and keeps drinks cold all day. I replaced all the water bottles we had with these. I cannot sing their praises enough. A great stocking stuffer or gift for $25!
There you have my first round up of great gifts found in my travels! Enjoy the next few weeks of warm weather, soccer and back to school!
